The Carolinas Crime Analysis Association (CCAA) is excited to announce its highly anticipated 2024 annual training conference, taking place in the historically rich city of Charleston, South Carolina, from Tuesday, February 27 to Friday, March 1. The conference promises a comprehensive program with an assortment of workshops and traditional sessions aimed at honing the skills of public and private sector crime and intelligence analysts. With over 125 attendees expected to participate, this event presents a prime opportunity for analysts to learn and network with others.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the event will receive a full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations made between 61 and 90 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee. Cancellations made between 31 and 60 days prior to the event will receive a 25% refund of the registration fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made 30 days or less before the event. Please note that all refund requests must be submitted in writing to carolinascrimeanalysts@gmail.comRefunds will be processed within 5 business days of receiving the cancellation request. To qualify for early bird pricing, payment is due by October 31, 2023, at 11:59 PM EST.  The attendee list will be shared with the event sponsors. Thank you for your understanding.

IACA EXAMINATIONS

ANALYST OF THE YEAR

CCAA will be hosting a student poster session on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 1515 to 1545 hrs. Interested students are encouraged to email the CCAA gmail account for more information.  This is a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their research and share their insights with fellow professionals and peers in the field of crime analysis.

This event will include proctored administration of the IACA CLEA and LEAF exams.  For inquiries regarding eligibility, please direct questions to the IACA Certification Committee.  Analysts with approval to take the exams are encouraged to reserve their spot by emailing the CCAA gmail account.

CCAA will be recognizing an Analyst of the Year.  Stay tuned for updates on how to nominate deserving individuals for this prestigious honor.
